Beeleaf is making a strong case for Thai tropical honey in the same functional category as manuka. The honey is studied not only for taste, but for biological activity linked to antioxidant and anti-inflammatory potential. Each source is assessed through three bio-indicators, including antioxidant activity and proteinase inhibition.

The brand works with native bee species, chemical-free habitats and local beekeeping communities, so the quality of the honey begins with the health of the whole environment. Different landscapes still produce different colours, aromas and textures. We find Beeleaf interesting because it brings scientific evidence to an ingredient that is also distinctly Thai.
