CONTE

Conte makes stainless-steel bowls and strainers whose intelligence is easiest to see in the rim. It guides liquid into a clean pour, gives the hand a secure grip and lets the pieces stack closely. The strainer drains through the base instead of collecting water around the edge.

Designer Rina Ono developed the range with metalworkers in Tsubame, Niigata. The pieces are refined enough to serve from, but every curve comes from something the bowl needs to do while rinsing, mixing or pouring.
