Haptic Editions is a Bangkok print studio working with Risograph, a process that lays each ink colour separately onto uncoated paper. Layers can slip slightly out of register; overlaps create new colours; grain remains visible instead of being polished away.
The studio uses those conditions deliberately across posters, invitations, zines, books and small editions. The interest is not imperfection for its own sake, but the way process becomes part of the image. A screen can reproduce the design, but not quite the ink, surface or small variation of the printed piece. Haptic makes graphic work worth holding.
