Hirota Glass keeps more than a century of Japanese glassmaking in active use. Pre-war moulds, European techniques absorbed into local production and deep workshop knowledge return as tumblers, bowls and sake ware for contemporary tables.
The patterns and proportions may feel familiar, but these are not replicas made for display. They are drinking glasses first. Hirota preserves old design knowledge by continuing to make it useful.
