HIHI WELCOME :)
HMM stands for Human, Made, Method, which is also the Taipei studio’s design order. It begins with how a hand holds, turns, cuts or pours, then builds the object around that sequence.
Across coffee tools, pens, scissors and desk objects, small adjustments to weight, temperature, grip and balance do most of the work. A cup keeps heat away from the fingers; a pour becomes easier to control; a tool rests more naturally in the hand. HMM is interesting because the forms look resolved without hiding the study behind them. The improvement may be measured in millimetres, but the hand notices.
