HIHI WELCOME :)
Nishiguchi Kutsushita makes socks by pairing the right natural fibre with the right knit. Cotton, silk, hemp and linen are chosen for warmth, breathability or softness, then worked on specialist machines in the family’s Nara factory.
The business began in 1950 with one hand-operated knitting machine. Three generations later, the socks are still judged by the same practical things: how they feel against the skin, how securely they stay up and how well the fibre suits the season.
