SHINTO TOWEL

Shinto Towel balances four things that rarely arrive together: softness, absorbency, light weight and quick drying. Layered gauze and traditional shuttle looms create towels that feel generous on the skin without staying damp for hours.

The Senshu workshop has been weaving since 1907, using 100 percent organic cotton yarn and slower looms that allow close control of the cloth. The quality becomes clearer after the first use: the towel absorbs well, dries quickly and stays comfortable through repeated washing. In a humid climate, that is more useful than thickness for its own sake.
