Yoshita Design revisits the small irritations most people have accepted. A Y-shaped peeler follows the wrist naturally. A butter knife cuts, spreads and lifts. Rounded stainless-steel bars become comfortable handles without seams that collect grime.
Moritaka Yoshita developed this eye through years at the Yanagi Industrial Design Institute and close work with Japanese manufacturers. Nothing has been made strange for the sake of design; the awkward part has simply been studied and improved. The tools fit easily into an existing kitchen, then make their particular job noticeably easier.
