DESCRIPTION

This honey comes from Apis dorsata, the giant honeybee. These bees do not live near villages. They build their hives on cliffs and tall trees deep in the mountain forests of Doi Phu Kha, Nan, at high elevations.
 
 The forest there is humid and full of different wild plants. The bees collect nectar from many native mountain trees and flowers.
 
 Because the nectar comes from a wide range of wild plants, the honey tastes deep and rich, with clear forest notes.
 
 It is also naturally high in antioxidants, as mountain plants produce strong protective compounds to survive in tougher conditions.
