- Clean gently with a sponge and dish soap, rinse, and leave upside down to dry.
- Avoid sudden temperature changes; don't pour hot water directly on glass. Use alcohol for cleaning instead.
- For heat sterilization, place the glass jar on its side in a cloth-lined pot, cover with water, and simmer for 35 minutes. Allow to cool and dry before use.
- Sterilize plastic lids and silicone rims with hot water.
